Murray Imaging Studios is an advanced digital studio set up in 2006.

Only 30 minutes south of Dublin based on the Dublin Road in Naas, Co. Kildare, we specialise in 
providing professional services to Artists, Photographers and Galleries.

In 2006 we were contracted by The Lissadell Estate (Sligo) to copy, reproduce and digitally archive the Countess Markievicz Collection.
The brief we were given was that our reproductions, when framed and displayed, should be indistinguishable from the originals. Every handwritten sentence, crease, mark and tear had to be faithfully reproduced.

Having sucessfully completed the above project we looked at how we could apply our skills in colour management, archival printing technology and advanced Photoshop to other applications.
We knew we could confidently reproduce originals and spoke to a number of local artists.  
We copied their original pieces and then worked with each artist producing a Giclée print which accurately matched the original artwork. Only when this process was completed to the artists's satisfaction did we archive the Digital Master Proof which is the digital file used for all future reproductions.
Thankfully they were delighted with our work and we continue to reproduce their artwork to this day.

Since then our list of client artists has grown and we ourselves continue to expand our knowledge of colour reproduction and to invest in the latest technologies to ensure we are providing you with the best Giclée Printing service currently available.
We take our job seriously and are always looking for new ways to meet artists needs.
A number of our artists now create "Enhanced hand-embellished giclées" - placing gold and other media directly onto our giclée reproductions to produce a higher value product and a product which has the personal touch of the artist.
